May & June 2007 The month of May provided great fishing from Point Breeze to Wilson. We spent several days in each port loading up the coolers with Coho’s, Kings and Steelhead. The hot setups were the yellow prochip green crinkle fly, red and red and yellow honeybees and the NK Vampire. We ran the prochip and Vampire off the riggers from 20’ to 60’ and the honeybees on the sliders and planer boards with 1 -2 oz. of weight. We found most of our fish between 150 and 250 feet of water (FOW)
This month—June the fish have been hanging out in the 100 FOW area. Most of our action has been on dipsys out 150—200’ and the thumper rod. Once again it is the flashers and flies that are taking the fish.
