Wed. Aug. 23 evening

By late afternoon, the lake was calm, and we decided to work the inside waters for mature salmon. We set our rigs on the 25 line and trolled north, marking bait and fish. After an hour and a half of fishing, we still had not had even a hit on any of the rigs. I stuck to my game plan, and knew it was just a matter of time before the fish would turn on. At 6:45 we had out first release on the 100' rigger with a white pro chip w/ LBB fly. A few minutes later, a nice king was in the net. The next hour and a half was steady action. We finished the evening boating six nice salmon, and missing one.
