Headed out to the lake and found some rough water. Ran North West to 130 feet of water (fow). Just as we were setting the fourth rod a fish hit on one of the three out, slamming a vampire set at 70’, no sooner did we grab that rod and the dipsy began screaming. The first fish dropped the lure and we lost the second fish right behind the boat. Lots of action to start our morning, but no fish in the box to show for it.
Our odds got better after the first double and we began to fill the box. We ended the day 11 for 15 and the icing on the cake was a 27 pound king.
