Sunday Sept. 3

 

Text Box: After several days of high winds, we were finally able to get out on the lake late Sunday morning. We started fishing in 250' of water in 3'-5' waves. After a couple hours of fishing, we boated a mature Coho and Chinook salmon, and lost two other salmon. We then decided to return a couple of fishermen to shore where they would be more comfortable, and come back out and finish our day trolling the mouth of the river. The decision paid off and over the next two hours we caught 4 king salmon, and lost two others.
